How to use our research

Last updated

Research is a starting point

GigPage organizes opportunities so that you can compare the work involved, likely expenses and application steps. Inclusion is not a quality certification, a promise of available work or an employment relationship with GigPage.

Sources and dates

Primary sources, such as a platform's official terms, pricing page or help center, are the starting point for changing facts. Source sections describe what was checked and link to the relevant material. A page's updated date records an editorial change; it does not guarantee that every statement was independently rechecked on that date. Sources can change after publication.

Check a provider's live terms for your country before paying a fee, submitting identity documents or accepting work. If an account dashboard quotes a different fee from a general help page, resolve that difference with the provider before proceeding.

Earnings and costs

An advertised hourly rate can exclude time spent waiting, applying, preparing or traveling. Revenue is not profit. Neither a worked example nor the earnings calculator is a forecast: enter your own realistic costs and record what actually happens. There is no guaranteed number of assignments, sales, research studies or accepted applications.

GigPage does not provide personalized tax, legal or financial advice. Use qualified local advice for decisions that depend on your circumstances.

Firsthand experience

A personal-use badge reflects the GigPage owner's own statement that they have used a service or resource. It does not mean the platform has been independently vetted, that its safety or earnings are verified, or that a detailed experience account is published. Source-based summaries are not personal reviews. We do not invent test results, client outcomes or earnings records. Any written firsthand account describes one person's circumstances rather than a typical outcome.

Corrections and commercial relationships

Send a correction through the contact page, preferably with the exact statement and an official source. Sponsored placements and affiliate links, if added, should be visibly disclosed alongside the relevant recommendation. Advertising should be distinguishable from directory links and controls.
