Privacy notice
Last updated
This notice covers gigpage.org, operated by GigPage in the United States. The site provides a directory, information pages and a browser-based earnings calculator. Advertising is disabled. This notice distinguishes the website’s current code from the separate Google services used to deliver the site and handle messages.
Reading the site
GigPage is delivered as static pages through Google Firebase Hosting. Loading a page sends connection and request information, including your IP address and the requested page or asset, to the hosting service.
Google's Firebase privacy documentation says Hosting uses incoming IP addresses for abuse detection and usage analysis, and retains IP data for a few months. Firebase Hosting runs on Google's global infrastructure; that documentation explains Google's processing and service-data practices. This description does not imply that GigPage has a separate visitor-tracking system.
Directory and calculator
You do not need an account to browse GigPage. There is no registration or payment form on the site.
The earnings calculator performs its calculations in your browser. GigPage's calculator does not send the values you enter to a server or save them in cookies, local storage or a database. Its clear button resets the fields. A fresh page load starts a new calculation; your browser may keep a page's temporary state when you navigate back to it.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Google Analytics is enabled for GigPage’s Firebase project. On this website it is optional and off until you accept analytics. Before a valid saved acceptance or a new acceptance, the application does not load the Google Analytics tag or send Analytics requests, including cookieless consent pings. Google Firebase Hosting still receives the page requests described above.
If you accept, the site loads Google’s Analytics tag for the existing measurement property. Google can receive page-visit and usage events, cookie identifiers and technical browser/device information. Network requests also expose connection information to Google. The site sends only allowlisted public page addresses and fixed page titles, without query strings or URL fragments. Unknown paths are represented as a generic 404 page; external referrers are omitted. Calculator field values and contact-email content are not sent. Google advertising-consent signals remain denied, and this choice does not authorize advertising.
Use Analytics settings at the bottom of any page to accept, reject or withdraw. Accept and Reject are offered equally. A browser-local preference, gigpage-analytics-choice-v1, remembers the choice for up to 180 days and is not an Analytics identifier. Rejection does not affect the directory or calculator. The Analytics cookies are configured with a 30-day expiry without extending that period on visits; Google’s handling of previously collected data is separate from cookie expiry.
Withdrawal disables collection, removes accessible first-party _ga Analytics cookies and normally reloads the page to unload Google’s tag. It cannot recall data already sent. If the browser prevents saving the withdrawal, collection is disabled for that page session without reloading; a previously saved choice may return after a later reload. The settings display a warning in that case, and you can clear the browser’s site data to remove that stored choice.
As checked on September 30, 2026, the linked property’s retention settings are 2 months for event data and 14 months for user data, with the user-data period reset on new user activity. These settings do not control most aggregate reporting and are not a promise that all Analytics records are deleted at those intervals. Previously collected data may remain subject to those settings and Google’s processing practices. See Google’s Analytics retention explanation and Google’s privacy information.
This build does not load Google AdSense, a Google Tag Manager container, the AdSense consent-message runtime or a third-party web font. The analytics choice control is separate from the published AdSense consent message. It does not set an advertising-consent cookie. The AdSense account metadata and ads.txt entry identify a publisher account for verification; they do not load advertisements or collect advertising consent.
An earlier version could save a browser setting named gigpage-privacy-banner-dismissed. Current pages do not use it. You can remove old site data through your browser settings. Dismissing that earlier notice was not a consent choice for this version.
Advertising will require an updated notice and the appropriate privacy choices before it is enabled. Google's advertising systems can use cookies or similar technology based on visits to this and other websites. Read Google's partner-site information, advertising technology information and personalized advertising controls for background. These links do not replace a consent control on GigPage.
Emailing GigPage
The contact link opens your email application. Clicking it does not submit a message through a GigPage form; you decide whether to send an email. If you send a message, the recipient receives your email address, message and any attachments. The currently published address uses Gmail, and your own mail provider also processes the message.
GigPage uses contact emails only to reply and does not retain them afterward. This describes GigPage's handling of correspondence, not a guarantee that every copy is immediately removed from Gmail, your email provider or backup systems. Those providers process messages under their own terms and privacy practices, including Google's privacy policy.
Do not send passwords, identity documents, payment-card details or other sensitive information. You can use the address below to ask about your correspondence or request deletion of any copy still held by GigPage. No specific provider-side deletion timetable is promised.
Links to other websites
Provider and resource links take you to independent websites. Their privacy notices and terms apply when you use them. Check the destination before sharing information or creating an account. GigPage does not receive the information you enter on those sites through its directory links.
